Hi Ann: "ME" would like to ask a favor of you...
"If," ( a humongous word )you could tell me, or refer me to a Legal person who could interpret the 14th Amend. Sect. 1 of the Constitution, I will forever be indebted....
The JUS SOLI was for the Slave babies who became citizens because of being born on the soil...(Slavery ended 1868)
These people were "Forced" here, but the "ILLEGALS" were not, they outright invaded...!!!
Why does,or does it really give 'Birth - Rights' to these illegals. ?
I have read that since they do 'NOT' owe alliegence to the USA, that they are 'not' citizens by birth...!!!
I heard another reason also, but cant remember where I read it , perhaps in the 'Federalist Blog' on Google?
Please , what is your respected opinion?
